Zoom: Marketing Content

At Zoom, I collaborated with the marketing team to shape the company's internal and external brand through initiatives like Zoomtopia, billboard messaging, email marketing, and all-hands presentations. I played a key role in executing creative campaigns, working cross-functionally to bring big brand visions to life. My experience at Zoom gave me a strong foundation in corporate tech, self-management, and creative collaboration.

SCOPE:

I started my career at Zoom fresh out of college, back when most people had never heard of it. I often found myself explaining, “It’s kind of like Skype!”—the only familiar comparison at the time. Zoom was still a startup that had just gone public, and no one could have predicted how, within a year, it would revolutionize the way we communicate.

During my time at Zoom, I worked closely with the marketing team to shape both the internal and external brand. I contributed to major initiatives such as Zoomtopia (the company’s annual conference), billboard messaging, email marketing, and internal all-hands presentations.

Zoom was my introduction to the corporate tech world, where I built invaluable connections and gained a deep understanding of how different departments function within a company. Creatively, it taught me self-management, cross-functional collaboration, and how to bring big creative visions to life—sometimes quite literally.
